SUSTAINABILITY

We take our responsibility seriously. That is why we only work with suppliers who strive to protect the environment and its natural resources. As a team, we want to minimise our environmental footprint, which is why we use responsibly manufactured products day in, day out for a better world. Honesty, loyalty and appreciation are our highest priority.

SUSTAINABLE T-SHIRTS

In our own production facilities, we produce T-shirts in light, medium and heavy quality. When you buy one of these or any other Russell style, you can rest assured that you are receiving a sustainably produced product that is not only fit for now, but progressive in many ways.

Wind energy 75% of our power comes from renewable energy (wind farm).
Water Up to 60% of waste water is recycled by our modern treatment plant.
Zero waste "Zero waste sent to landfill from our own facilities." Zero waste means recycling more than 95% of the waste generated in our own operations by 2020. We have significantly exceeded the Zero Waste International Alliance's targets for company recognition.

We are committed to responsible use of chemicals and sourcing sustainably produced products that will reduce our carbon footprint and meet consumer needs.

Our innovative Bionic Softshell Jacket is fluorine- and PFC-free and uses the environmentally friendly finish Bionic-Eco Finish®.
Insulated jackets from Russell are also fluorine- and PFC-free and the durable insulation DUPONT™ SORONA® is made of 37% plant material.

ORGANIC COTTON

Our Russel Pure Organic line is produced with 100% organic cotton. Encouraging awareness of environmental issues and quality are core values of our Russel Pure Organic products. We want to support your efforts to make the world a better place by offering eco-friendy, sustainable and fairly produced clothing.

100% OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED

All Russel products are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (class II) certified. 8-5941 Shirley.
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.
Russel products belong to product class II. This product class includes products that largely come into direct contact with the skin, such as T-shirts, polos, shirts, sweatshirts.
